This work is an exploration through digital manipulation of some motion clips I recorded in my garden of various plants, flowers and birds. The project title Monarda, also called Bee Balm, refers to a red flower particularly attractive to the hummingbird for its nectar. I limited myself to working with only a few motion clips, relying on several software programs to suggest the direction of the project. Abstract colors, shapes, and sounds were the refined results.
