I am a self-taught, mixed-media artist who has particular interests in collage, assemblage, altered art, and abstract intuitive painting. My training and education are in flute performance and music education, but my most recent love of the arts is in the visual realm. I love color, texture, and playing with various mediums to express whatever happens to be in my heart and mind in the moment. I must make art--it seems to be in my blood--it brings me so much joy--I get so lost in what I am doing--it is my passion!
