Susan A. Cooney Water is at the center of my life. I live on a sailboat; so the sea and coastline are daily companions, and the primary subject matter for my work. The view, constantly changing, draws me to the medium of pencil and paper. I concentrate on breaking down the features into shade and line, in order to define artistically, why it is so captivating.
