Richard Garrigus

Nature is constantly working on us. It whispers to us through an infinity of voices, dances in the periphery, strokes the skin and massages the eyes, confirms our existence every passing moment, calls us out to be reminded of our very source. All this often without our notice. Art is about noticing. Then wanting to reflect back what is given. We pick up a pen, paintbrush, chisel, etching tool to act on inner sensation, and as we make our first marks, a voice leads us forward until it suggests in the end: "enough."
