I love to draw and paint and have been doing it for years. My work has won a number of awards and is in private collections throughout Maine and New England. My style is expressionistic and I paint outside whenever possible. Painting in nature to me is a meditative process. I use acrylics, watercolor, pastel and mixed media and have started dabbling with encaustic. I teach art to children and adults and belong to several local art groups including the Waterville Area Art Society, the Kennebec Valley Art Association, Up Country Artists, and the Boothbay Regional Art Foundation.
