Judith KrischikAfter being a German writer for many years, Judith Krischik developed her painting in order to overcome the limitations of words and language in expressing the non-material world. In her work, she gives shape to her experience and connectedness to the non-visible around us. Taking images from her dreams, she believes that they can lead to a source of creativity. Painting then becomes a tool to make its content visible and to build a relationship with the numinous other: animal spirits, archetypes and the essence of what we are. Working with acrylics, Krischik combines impasto techniques and multiple, transparent layers to create texture and depth.
