One of my responses to September 11, 2001 was to re-read my collection of World War I poetry. The verses from Laurence Binyon's "For the Fallen" (from the Oxford Book of English Verse) stayed with me as I sought solace and clarity walking on Parson's Beach. Later I created this collage; half my profits will benefit the organization teachingtolerance.org. Winning the Judge's Award at a Maine Women in the Arts exhibit encouraged this wider showing of this particular work.
