I enjoy and appreciate the mechanics and components of the piano as found objects for artistic media. Although I do not play an instrument, my art in "Pianoworks" has a harmony--a melodic pattern minus sound. An idea, arising in response to the material itself, becomes the cohesive element and inspiration--be it artwork representing a theme or a thought, or purely aesthetic art.
