Animals are my muse and the inspiration for my paintings. Animals complete me as a human being; they make me a whole person. My art is the statement of my life-long love for them; my passion is painting their Spirit. Creating art of animals is what I was chosen to do.

A native New Englander and animal lover since she was a child, Carol Santora (BFA summa cum laude Framingham State College) is nationally recognized for her unique and soulful animal paintings and pet portraits that capture the spirit of her subjects. A Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, the award-winning artist spends countless hours visiting farms and rescues studying, observing and photographing animals and wildlife. Her work is internationally collected and she is represented by several galleries in the US.
