Amy Stacey Curtis is an installation artist whose imagery culminates every other year via ambitious "solo-biennial" exhibits scheduled from the year 2000 through at least 2010. Each exhibit of large-scale installation takes place in a different Maine community and vast, abandoned space; each explores chaos, order, and repetition through a specific theme while requiring audience perpetuation. SOUND, Curtis's fourth biennial, is scheduled for October 2006 in a Maine location to be announced.
